Product Description
SKU: 880-60130-001
The Calibration Verification Block is used to check the calibration of legacy handheld meters: MMC205, MMC210, MMC220, and MMI1100, legacy meters, except for the L609.
Also meant to be used on current models: L601-3, L620, L622, and the L722 Lumber Stack Probe.
Wagner Meters’ hand-held units are calibrated at the factory. With proper care, the meters stay in calibration. In the event that the meter has been dropped or you suspect for any reason that the meter is out of calibration, a Calibration Verification Block (CVB) is available. It allows you to determine whether or not the meter is still calibrated.
Certificate of Calibration
The Certificate of Calibration says that the calibration block meets the standards or specifications set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This Certificate offers proof that the CVB is NIST certified and can therefore be used to determine if a moisture meter is properly calibrated.
Knowing your meter is properly calibrated – and having a Certificate to prove it – is invaluable for companies, especially flooring manufacturers, flooring installers, or mills that could be subject to liability because of warranty claims stemming from inaccurate moisture meters. Having a Certificate verifies their equipment is within calibration and can be traced back to NIST standards, thereby relieving companies of potential liability.
For companies compliant with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a Certificate is required to ensure their meters are certified, meaning within calibration. It offers proof that their meters are traceable to NIST standards and that the company is in compliance with ISO guidelines.

Mr.Peng –
May I ask Orion ® Can 930 and MMC220 be used for this calibration module? Are the calibration modules of the three products universal?
Jason Wright –
Hi Mr. Peng,
The Orion 930 cannot be used for this calibration module. The Calibration Verification Block is used to check the calibration of legacy handheld meters: MMC205, MMC210, MMC220, and MMI1100, legacy meters, except for the L609. Not the Orion line of moisture meters.
Thanks!
